(Bowling Green, KY) The Senior Perspectives Programs from the Medical Centers at Scottsville, Franklin, and Caverna took part in the Medical Center's annual "A Day Just For Women" event, held at the Knicely Conference Center in Bowling Green, KY on October 2nd. This event, designed to focus on women's health and well-being, provided an opportunity for healthcare organizations to connect with the community and share valuable services.
Representing the three Senior Perspectives Programs was Michelle Wooten, the former Program Director for the Senior Perspectives Program at the Medical Center at Caverna. Michelle managed an exhibit booth at the event, where she interacted with attendees and showcased the vital services that Senior Perspectives offers to older adults.
The event allowed the Senior Perspectives Programs to highlight their commitment to helping seniors manage the emotional and mental health challenges associated with aging. Attendees learned about the various therapeutic and support services provided at the three locations, ensuring that more members of the community are aware of the resources available to support senior well-being.
"A Day Just For Women" proved to be an excellent platform for raising awareness about mental health in seniors and strengthening community ties.
