Students at the Embarras River Basin Agency (ERBA) Head Start Program in Paris, Illinois recently received donations from staff and group members at Senior Care, a department of Paris Community Hospital/Family Medical Center. Connie Rhoads, primary therapist at Senior Care, pictured second from the right in the back row, presented a $200 check to Theresa Campbell, Head Start family advocate. The students will use the donation for a year-end field trip to the Terre Haute Children’s Museum. Senior Care staff and group members also donated a jar containing $105 for the children to do something special as their school year ends.
“Our seniors wanted to provide the financial means for a fun and educational experience for these children who would not otherwise be able to go on the field trip,” said Jane Furry, RN, Senior Care manager. It’s a great feeling for our seniors to contribute to the community and help this generation of children.”
