(Staunton, IL) In Q2 of 2024, the Senior Life Solutions Program at Community Hospital of Staunton, under the leadership of Program Director Alisabeth Hardnock, organized a series of engaging activities and events to promote mental health awareness and foster a sense of community among staff and patients. Alisabeth thoughtfully provided small gift baskets filled with snacks and program brochures to hospital clinics, ensuring that key information about the program reached a wide audience. Additionally, she distributed baskets of snacks throughout the hospital, accompanied by materials highlighting Mental Health Awareness Month, to raise awareness among staff and visitors.
To show appreciation for the nursing staff during Nurses Week, Alisabeth prepared small goodie bags for the nurses, expressing gratitude for their dedication and service. She also took the initiative to decorate both the program space and the hospital, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere. In addition to these efforts, Alisabeth hosted a memorable graduation party for some of the program’s graduates and organized an alumni party for former patients, fostering a continued connection between the program and those it has served.
