Staff from the SELF program, at Carlinville Area Hospital, Illinois, are hiding rocks! In support of Mental Health Awareness Month and to create community awareness of the SELF program, rocks are being placed all over town, near walkways, parks and outside of businesses. The rocks are painted blue and on one side have encouraging words and on the other side along with contact information for the SELF program. Any person who finds a rock and texts or posts a picture back to the SELF program will receive a small gift such as a coupon for free ice cream (donated by local businesses).
