(Scottsville,KY) Staff from the Senior Perspectives programs at the Medical Center at Scottsville and Franklin, including Program Director Kenyatta Williams and Therapist Andy Tanaro, participated in various Mental Health Awareness Month activities in the month of May.
One of the events the program participated in was the Silver Sneakers Presentation at Bowling Green Parks and Recreation. Kenyatta and Andy were able to provide information about their program to Seniors and community members attending the event.
Another event the program hosted was a cookout at the Renaissance Apartments, a 55 and older community. While the event was moved indoors due to rain, the program was still able to connect with residents of the community and provide informational materials about the program.
Great job to the Senior Perspectives staff for engaging with their community in such a unique way!
