(Carlinville, IL) The Senior Behavioral Health Program at Carlinville Area Hospital and Clinics recently hosted its annual Alumni Brunch, bringing together nearly 20 program alumni for a morning of connection, celebration, and updates. Tanya Kessinger, Chief Specialty Services Development Officer, kicked off the event with exciting news about the hospital’s ongoing expansion of both buildings and services. Brian Stoops, Behavioral Health Director, followed with an encouraging update on the continued success and significance of the Senior Behavioral Health Program, which remains a vital part of the hospital's offerings. Cheryl Price, Program Clerk, took the opportunity to introduce the group to the Care Link – Life Line call button service, an essential resource available to the community, while Becky Foiles, Swing Bed Coordinator, provided insight into the hospital’s Swing Bed Program.
Themed as a cowboy-style affair, the brunch menu delighted attendees with creatively named dishes like bronco-bustin' biscuits and gravy, scally-wag scrambled eggs, saddle-up sausage, fast-draw fruit cups, jumpin' jimmy juice, chuck-wagon coffee, and camp-fire sweets. Alumni enjoyed the hearty spread before diving into rounds of lively buckaroo bingo, which brought a sense of fun and camaraderie to the morning. The western theme added a festive and memorable touch, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone in attendance.
