(Carlinville, IL) The Senior Behavioral Health Program at Carlinville Area Hospital recently took part in the Annual Hettick Chicken and Fish Fry, a popular local event that brings the community together. Staff members Leann Barr and Cheryl Price represented the program with a booth, where they engaged with attendees and shared information about the services offered. Their presence provided a valuable opportunity for the community to learn about the importance of mental health care for seniors and the support available through the hospital.
Visitors to the booth were treated to a variety of freebie items, including insulated tote bags, coffee mugs, hand fans, frisbees, and fidget puzzles. These items not only served as fun and practical giveaways but also helped to keep the Senior Behavioral Health Program top of mind for participants. The event allowed the program to connect with the local community, raise awareness about senior mental health, and highlight the resources available to support the well-being of older adults in the area.
